The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga and The Calistoga Teen Center provide diverse activities to meet the interests of all youth. Our engaging programs help young people to develop their sense of self-esteem and their full potential. The Clubs give kids what they need to succeed: a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, control and safety.
Character and Leadership Development empowers youth to support their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships, develop a positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
Education and Career Development enables youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to optimize educational and career goals.
Health and Life Skills develops young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and develop their competencies to live successfully as self-sufficient adults.
Recreation, Sports and Fitness develops fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and social and interpersonal skills.
The Arts enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts, performing arts and creative writing.
Club Hours
During the school year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga are open Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and open earlier on "Early Dismissal Days." During Christmas break, spring break, and summer vacation, the Clubs are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Calistoga Teen Center is open Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and longer during the holiday breaks.
Membership Fees
Cost for the school year or summer day camp membership for all Clubs is $50.00. Scholarships are available for families with limited means.
